one Cactus

Mini cacti will decorate even the smallest desktops. They are unpretentious and get along well next to the computer. In addition, some of them may bloom, and it looks very nice.

2 Succulent

Succulents are the closest relatives of cacti, but they look very different. Small plants resembling stars can be combined in one florarium or pot. Beautiful compositions are not demanding in care and look very aesthetically pleasing. They can be supplemented with any decorative details, for example, a mini-city with tiny houses and residents.

3 Violet

Violet will not grow to incredibly large sizes. That is why the pot with it is convenient to keep at the workplace. If you properly care for the plant, it will regularly delight with its flowering and fill the mini-office with a spring mood. Proper care is easy to provide: the main thing is to limit direct sunlight and organize good lighting. A desktop near the window with a powerful table lamp is the perfect solution.

four Gibbeum

Gibbeums are often called «living stones» for the peculiar shape of the leaves. In appearance, they resemble succulents, but have a brighter color. Despite the fact that large representatives of this species are found in nature, at home, “living stones” do not grow too large. They may well fit on the table. Moreover, gibbeeums, like cacti, sometimes bloom. This usually happens in winter.

5 Lithops

Another representative of the so-called «living stones». Lithops come in different shades, some of them are decorated with patterns. Many varieties can bloom. These plants look most spectacular in a pot filled with smooth stones on top — they emphasize the unusual shape and color of the leaves. Lithops do not tolerate excessive moisture, so a drainage layer is usually made under the ground. They also need to be transplanted as soon as the root system fills the space allotted to it in the pots.

6 Kalanchoe

A small bush with a scattering of bright small flowers will decorate both the windowsill and the desktop — you need very little space for this. Kalanchoe is a good option for those who have just started growing houseplants. This flower is unpretentious, easily adapts to different conditions and does not require complex care.

7 Ivy

Ivy is unpretentious, it does not need special temperature, humidity control and a lot of sun. But if you want to keep the plant neat, and at the same time not litter the workplace with numerous shoots, the ivy will often have to be cut. Otherwise, the plant feels comfortable in different conditions.

eight Dracaena Sanders

The bright green stem of the plant with a spiral top is somewhat reminiscent of bamboo. You can grow it for some time just in a vase: the main thing is to monitor the water level, it should not rise above the roots above 2 cm. Dracaena care is simple, it does not like bright sunlight and grows well in diffused light.

9 Aloe vera

Aloe vera is a traditional plant of Soviet window sills. It can be not only beautiful, but also useful. The juice and puree from the pulp of the leaves perfectly heal and moisturize the skin. Due to its small size and aesthetic shape, aloe may well decorate the workplace. It does not require special care. It should be watered as the soil dries out.
