1. «Transitional» style

2 Half-timbered style

Fachwerk «came» to interior design from architecture, and its origin determines the typical features of the style.

7 Hygge

Hygge style is the absolute hit of the season. Born in Denmark, where it is cold and uncomfortable for most of the year, hygge has become the «assistant» of the northern inhabitants in the embodiment of the necessary comfort. In order to create the right atmosphere, you need to follow 4 simple rules.

1. Collect little things that are dear to your heart. These can be an old grandmother’s box, a blanket bought with a loved one and reminiscent of warm evenings, old photographs that will take their rightful place in the frame.
2. Lots of candles. The hygge style embodied the Danish love for fiery light sources. It is believed that one inhabitant of this country accounts for up to 6 kg of wax. Candles also create soft shadows that are the best way to create coziness.

5 Characteristics of Mid-Century Style

1. Free space connection. In the 50s of the last century, the idea of ​​​​expanding space was not new, but it acquired a special meaning. Then for the first time they began to attach an attic to the room, put panoramic windows in order to create the impression of being close to nature.
2. Furniture in such an interior more often resembled the Art Nouveau style.
3. Bright walls. Most often, wallpapers with patterns and colors gravitating towards the colors of the earth were chosen — this was associated with security and the affirmation of life.

9 Backstage style

The concept of backstage does not need to be translated. This word has already entered the Russian language, in the dictionary we will find the meaning of “inside out”, “behind the scenes”. An inside-out interior is also possible — it will deliberately reveal functional and technical details, as if behind the scenes of a theater or in a restaurant kitchen. For example, on the project below, the designer deliberately left light wiring.
