one Watering can

Of course, the main accessory needed in the care of indoor plants is a watering can. No highly specialized knowledge is required to select it, but it is worth considering several parameters.

• Spout. It should be comfortable — consider the size of all pots and the density of plants, as short and not curved will not get everywhere. Most often, long, narrow and slightly curved towards the tip is the most comfortable option.
• The volume of water contained. If you have a whole apartment jungle, you don’t want to run ten times for extra water. It is better to choose models that are more voluminous. And vice versa — if you have only a few copies for watering, get by with a small watering can that does not take up much space.
• Design. The watering can can be hidden in a closet, or it can be used as a stylish accessory by placing it next to the pots on a specially designated rack. It will look stylish and appropriate! It is better to refuse colored translucent plastic.

2 Spray

For regular spraying of house plants, get a special spray gun — convenient, the required size and also stylish. Make sure that the plug has modes with different irrigation: more and less intense and jet. If we talk about the appearance, then the spray gun can be combined with a watering can. Why not turn your everyday gadgets into a home decoration?

3 Spatula for grafting

You will rarely need a spatula or scoop, but it is difficult to transplant plants without them. Variants with wooden handles are nicer than metal ones and quite practical to care for, but high-quality plastic models are also beautiful and comfortable.

Advice: a small but useful addition to the shovel will be garden gloves — sometimes you need to tamp the soil manually. Take care of the stand for transplanting flowers, so as not to spill the earth on the floor and make cleaning easier: use, for example, a wet shoe stand with low sides in a new role.

four Rake or fork for loosening the soil

When transplanting indoor flowers, it is necessary to loosen the soil in order to improve its quality. This will require a rake if you have large plants in large pots, or a special fork if all the flowers are compact.

5 Budding knife

This tool is necessary for budding and plant propagation. With such a knife it is easy to separate shoots from adult specimens, when using it, neat, not “torn” sections are obtained, which means that the plant will heal faster and return to normal. It can also be useful simply for removing dried leaves or twigs — in this case, the budding knife will play the role of a regular one.

6 Thermohygrometer

A device with a difficult-to-pronounce name, in fact, is familiar to you. It is a thermometer and air humidity meter in one. If the temperature level can still be determined by sensation (most plants do not need a specific temperature to within one degree), then the degree of humidity can be unpredictable. This is especially important in autumn and winter during the heating season — the plants should not dry out.
