Palm Kentia (or Hovea) — one of the easiest to care for house palms, grows quite tall and voluminous. Water it every 4-5 days in summer and every 9-10 days in winter. In the first weeks, it will be necessary to check the condition of the soil and adjust the frequency of watering so that the soil does not become waterlogged and, conversely, does not dry out. This palm tree is transplanted very rarely, since it has a rather short root system, which grows slowly and does not tolerate any stress. The lower leaves will dry out as the plant grows — just cut them off. If the top ones start to turn yellow, move the pot a little further from the window. And brown shoots will make it clear that the problem is watering.

2 Monstera

Monstera has many subspecies with different leaf colors, but they are all large and showy. If you want to fill the empty space right now, it is better to take an adult plant, since it is impossible to predict how fast a little monstera will grow in your apartment. In addition, an adult flower needs to be transplanted only once every 3-4 years. Water the monstera a couple of times a week in the summer and once every 7 days during the winter. At the same time, wipe the leaves with a damp cloth — they do not like dust.

3 Dracaena fragrant

Dracaena is one of the largest and most unpretentious indoor plants. In summer, it is watered once every 2-3 weeks, in winter — once every 4-6 weeks. Focus on the size of the pot and the light in the room: the larger the volume of soil and the less direct sunlight, the less often watering is needed. It is important that the earth has time to dry out in a couple of days, and the water does not stagnate in the pan. So you will avoid the most common dracaena disease — root rot. Also watch the leaves: if they are curled, you need more water, if they are covered with brown spots, on the contrary, less.

Another large and unpretentious indoor palm tree. Water it a couple of times a week in summer and once every 10 days in winter. The pot must be placed away from the batteries, since all large deciduous plants do not like dry air. But avoid strong shade: the Liviston palm tree needs bright but diffused daylight for at least 3-4 hours a day.
